I would garden for at least 6 months and keep your utilization at a minimum. Barclays has been known to CLD because of new accounts.

American Express: Platinum Charge, Optima, Business Gold, Delta Business Reserve, Business Cash, Business Plus
Barclays: Arrival+ WEMC
Capital One: Savor WEMC, Venture X Visa Infinite
Chase: Freedom U Visa Signature, CSR Visa Infinite
Citibank: AAdvantage Platinum WEMC
Elan/US Bank: Fidelity Visa Signature
Credit Union: Cash Back Visa Signature
FICO 08: Score decrease between 26-41 points after auto payoff (11.01.21) FICO as of 12.24, EX: 813 / EQ: 825 / TU: 818

Should i try my luck and app for the CCLOC or another CC?

CLOC is a different department and different bureau, normally. Navy pulled TU for my CC and EQ for my CLOC. If you're not concerned about CLD, then adding another pull should be on a different bureau.

Another CC, I would wait at least 3 months, 6 months would be even better, before I tried. Anytime before that and you will almost definitely be denied for 'too new' with Navy.

0 on both inquires and new accounts within the last 3 months.

My most recent account was opened nearly 8 months ago with Barclays for the Arrival Plus.

I think if you're going to go on an app spree it's best to app as close as possible so the accounts can grow while you garden. If they're spread out, your AAoA will take a hit.

I agree with you on that UncleB. When my scores progressed I jumped on the opportunity to get the cards I wanted and the CLI's as well. Now I will let it grow. I learned that Penfed dont like rebuilders apping at the moment. Some lenders like that I will focus on in a couple of years.

Four new accounts in the past six months (Amazon 11/27/17, Cap One unsecured 2/10/17, Discover 3/22/17, Penfed car loan 2/24/17) and about the same number of inquiries. I'm planning to let them all age for at least 5-6 months before applying again for any further accounts.

Re: how many inquires and new accounts do you have in the last 3 months?!

7 total new accounts in past 3 months:

Amex ED (AU) - $12k. Actually a year old, but when we added me as an AU Amex reported March 2017 to the CBs for opening date.

Amex SPG - $8k SL, moved another $8k to it from Blue - not yet reporting to CBs (but Blue CLD is).  March.

Chase Slate - $3500 SL (not surprising since I had just opened a $12k CSP), moved $6200 from Freedom and CSP to make it $9700 for a BT.  March.

Navy FCU Flagship Rewards - $24k SL April

Navy FCU CLOC - $15k SL - not yet reporting to CBs. April.

PenFed Power Cash Rewards - $10k SL. March.

Plus a student loan refinance in April.  2 loans rolled into this already reporting as paid and closed on EX and EQ but not TU.  Not yet reporting to CBs.

2 EQ, 3 EX and 6 TU INQs in past 3 months:

One on each CB from CapOne for my only declined new app in decades.  (No high SL low APR Venture for me, just stuck with my 25+% APR never had/never will get a CLI FrankenVentureOne that I will close.)

EQ pull for NFCU CLOC.

EX pull for student loan.

EX pull for Slate.

TU pull for BOA CLI on BankAmericard ($9600)

TU pull for Slate.

TU pull for NFCU membership.

TU pull for NFCU Flagship Rewards.

TU pull for BOA CLI on Travel Rewards (2nd this year, $10,200 after $8,100 CLI 1/1).
