Re: lowes pulled experian?

I have seen people applying for this card get the EX pull. When I applied in July, it was TU for me.

Synch. has always pulled Tu for me except for Sunglass Hut, they pulled EX.

No changes.  It's weird, but when I apped Discover they pulled EX and then of course Lowes.

As a former employee of GE Capital (now Synchrony) they have always pulled Experian, however, in order for them to pull experian on you for lowes there had to be some sort of issue with TransUnion, or your individual transunion credit report itself. Rooms To Go, HH Gregg, Ashley Furniture, any carcare one account, care credit, cost plus world market, Ethan Allan, Sleep Number, GolfSmith Etc. you will always get a pull from Experian.

Maybe it's best not to say 'always' here... I got my Care Credit account back in August, and mine was a pull on TransUnion, not Experian.

then they could of had a system issue....I.E. if the TU system is down on their end for any reason to prevent a delay in the application they will pull experian and vice versa. If experian is down on the accounts that pull experian they will pull TU.

This makes sense... it would also explain why some folks get TU, and others get EX.
