Honestly, wait a bit for your scores to be better before you apply.  It is not worth it for CAP 1 to pull all 3 reports and approve you for a $500.00 card.  If you can wait, do that.

I have to agree with everyone in here as they are correct! The main info for me is, do you have any credit cards that are reporting now? If you do then just wait till your score is better before going for another sub prime card including CapOne platinum Card.

If you don't have any CC as of now, then go for CapOne! You need to start somewhere reporting CC on your credit file! Even the entry lvl CapOne is better then most Sub Prime cards.
