target denial

I applied for a target credit card and got the 7-10 day message . received a letter today stating my application was denied due to too many  recent inquiries.  I called to recon and to my surprise  the young woman was extremely  rude!  She said there is no way they would consider me due to  the inquiries.  Anyone  had an success  with a recon from target? Could I email  the eo  and explain  my situation?

I do not have any experience with them. But I would have tried another analyst later.

I would assume Target Recon is a like a Target CLI (NOT A CHANCE!)

Thanks for the info.  Maybe I'll just let it go.  Figured  I'd try. It's already a hard pull.

You probably won't get a recon. Your scores are under 600 and you have a lot of inquries. Those together are not a good sign, no matter the intentions.

This pretty much sums it up OP, even if you decide to pursue it at the EO level.  Might as well chalk it up as a loss and consider them in the future when your profile and scores improve.

Target Card is is issued by Philadelphia based TD Bank, They are extremely difficult and require a very picticular credit profile.  I gave up on them long ago
