No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
The email and password you use to apply works to login and "check" your status. If you log in with that while in limbo it just says "please contact us"....even if you have already contacted them. The last time I logged in before I got the approval, instead of saying"please contact us.."........It said "Sorry, we could not approve you at this time, you will receive a letter in 7-10 days etc etc"......

i apped on the 15th and called immediatey as it wasn't an instant approval. called them 3 days ago and then again today and im being told the same - no decision yet. i know, i know, some lenders take a whole month to get a decision but this wasn't the case with blispay, at least when it first showed up here in MF. people were getting instant decisions. either a denial or an approval. the rare cases it went to pending were due to address issues or failing the phone verification.
perhaps they are backlogged right now?!? i made sure my credit profile was in top shape when i app - 797 Ex score, zero'ed all my balances except one, low inqs (1 in 6 mos, 3 in 12mos), no lates/baddies/derogs, perfect payments. it's baffling that i wasn't instantly approved. :/
oh well, i will keep you guys posted. if others are planning to app for a blispay card and get an instant decision, please be a doll and comment here. i'd like to see if they are really backlogged or if there is something in my profile that they don't like. tia!
Congratulations!

Gotcha, thanks for that info. I just logged in and saw the same screen I saw 3 weeks ago right when I applied that said contact them within 5 days. Will report back again tomorrow after I speak to CS again...
God bless you young fighters in limbo. I gave up after two hard pulls and one phone call. Amazing how they can't verify my address even after me faxing in DL, bank statement, etc. Even more amazing is the fact they are the only credit card company I have dealt with who can't verify, and I deal with quite a few CCCs. Same address and such since 2005. I don't need ANY card that bad! Their loss.
update on limbo.... called in this morning, talked to the same lady i did last week. was informed my app is still pending a decision from "upper management" and it would take 7-10 business days. frustrated, i said that is the same thing i was told 7-10 days ago and then 7-10 days prior to that. i apologized for being frustrated but told the lady i have never experienced this for a credit card, that i have always gotten a decision either instantly online or by calling in for instant manual review. i asked if anything was holding my application up like address or income verification, she said no, my credit profile was good, but no comments about what is causing the hold up. she aplogized it was taking longer than i expected and told me once a decision has been made i would be notified by email and letter in the mail.
looks like my app isnt going anywhere anytime soon. but i could be wrong.....
Ugghh, got approved for $7.5 limit today. Apped on 07/07 and got my email today on 07/11.
So messed up.....

I don't get it. Whats messed up about that?
Maybe he means messed up that he got such a quick (4 day) approval compared to some in limbo?
My limbo ended today (3 weeks) with a $6k approval. A bit disappointed to be honest in the limit, I was hoping for $7.5-$8k. Better than a denial, I suppose. Hopefully they consider CLIs at some point down the road as I hear they won't consider a recon.

This. Shouldn't take you this long to get the approval. I hope they will do a CLI since I would prefer $10k. However the nice thing about the card is that you can access you CC info as soon as you are approved. Simple phone app as well which is highly important for me.
Even those that got this card when it first came out are only reaching the 3 month mark now of having it. There are some creditors out there that don't do CLIs for the first 6 months... so perhaps in another 3 months we'll start hearing people report back the first CLIs on Blispay. I hope this is the case so that in 6 months I can bump my limit up to a more comfortable line.
