when asking for a CLI

I asked for a CLI on my carecredit, gettting some dental work done. I recieved one altho it was 1000 my TU score should have been high enough to get a bigger one. I was still ok with it but not wanting to put the card at 60% UTI. Figured i'd do only put a portion of it on it.

I got the letter today and they pulled TU like i thought the would but the score is an old score. Are their scores automatically updated? or do I need to request another HP to get the score udated? I assumed with Synchorony they SP you when you called. I called the number on the back of the card also.

Re: when asking for a CLI

Carecredit is always a HP.  And they probably won't give you more right now.  I think they like to see usage then cli.  At least that's been my experience.

Re: when asking for a CLI

I Was expecting a HP. never received one. Got my letter today and it had my fico based on an old pull. The date listed on the letter for the score was from January.
Says your credit score date 1/21/2016. I figured they would pull TU again? Just didn't want to come out of pocket a large chunk of change. Guess I'll have to just put a little on it and pay cash for the rest. Or put in on a CC and PIF and get the rewards.

If this is Synchrony, I think they've been know to be behind on SP's used for CLI requests.

Re: when asking for a CLI

I have experienced this issue with multiple issuers upon asking for a CLI. I recently had a 68 point increase and asked and the issuer pulled a January report, which is completely different than my current snapshot. It wasn't an HP but so annoying.
