I believe it's worth about $666.67 in statement credit, or much much more on travel redemption. If you save up for the next BA Bonus you can get 140K Avios which for short haul in the US can practicaly buy you 5-14 round trip flights depending on distance.

From observation: Qualified, NON-Amex card holders. 

So, if you already have an Amex, you won't be getting that mail offer in this lifetime.
