Congrats! It will grow quickly.

PIF but use it a lot even if you have to make multiple payments per month.

WOot woot! happy dance! Nice bonus with that!

Request CLI at activation. If denied try again in 90 days.

You could app for a 2nd card with them tonight with the same inquiry. Would have to be a charge card that is not a credit card. 50k bonus after 1k spend in 90 days. If you can even remotely afford to spend the extra 333 a month, and you travel or want gift cards, do it. Its worth up to $1000 or more in travel plus the free $100 for flight incidentals. AND the 195 annual fee is waived so just cancel it in 51 weeks or downgrade to a low/no AF card. (I think I should put this in my signature) lol

You are talking about using the 3X CLI request, correct? This can be done after 61 days when you first get your card. (I would not try it right away, it's only 2 months to wait from here)

The main thing they want to see is usage and payment, the more of both the better. It is possible to carry a balance, but with this CL, and your likely APR, not advisable. Reporting a balance on the statement and then PIF by the payment due date is absolutely fine.

There have been reports of people with an open cash advance amount on their account not getting the 3X CLI, but most people don't like the high APR on cash advances.

Actually after the last few months their rules have changed. Plenty of folks here have gotten a 3x cli at card activation. It all depends on your scores. Mine were 30 points lower and I didnt get one in may
