AMEX Bonvoy CL & Card Facts

Just wanted to give a quick update on Amex and card limits. Recently, I've been reading that the Max number Amex will allow for credit cards was 4 and for charge cards it's 10. I got lucky this week. I already have 4 credit cards with Amex and 2 charge but I've been eyeing the Bonvoy. Pulled the trigger and applied and got the "we will get back to you in 14 days" even though it said I was pre-approved. I figured well, they must be correct about that limit. Boy was I wrong! Got an email the next day saying" Thank you for choosing to expand your membership. You have been approved and to expect my card in 7-10 days. I figured, ok, they will probably give me some low credit limit and I will have to move money from my BCP (25,000) to this card. Wrong again! My CL for my Bonvoy is 25,000. I LOVE AMEX! So happy right now! So I guess that limit isn't a Hard Limit as of yet!

PS: Sorry I don't have a flashy sig line like most of you but hopefully I will get that done soon. I use my IPAD for most things and it doesn't appear that I can use that to snaz up my signature line lol!
