AMEX CLI

My 91 days was today so I asked for an increase. My limit was 9k & I thought about doing the 3x CLI to 27k but got cold feet because of the horror stories regarding them asking for income verification at 25k lol. I can verify income that's no issue. I heard it was anything over 35k but I ended up asking for 24k which was instantly approved. This card started at 1k & I tripled it to 3k in May, 9k in June. I was denied in Sept due to low spending & now I got Dec. From here on out I'll take auto increases but I won't request anymore on this card.

I was in the same predicament as you and didn't want to ask for the full 3X CLI, but eventually got to 35K and now I don't want to push past that. Perhaps they will come up with another CC that I would like in the future...

Thanks everyone. Someone must have knew I got an increase because they charged $4600 on my card for two cameras last night. Luckily I have fraud protection & I'll get the money back.
