AMEX Delta Platinum Approval!

Hello all!

So after many months of credit rebuilding and constantly filling out the AMEX prequal form I finally was preapproved for all of the Delta cards! I pulled the trigger on the Platinum and was instantly approved with a $1,700 SL! Not terrible considering my current credit situation;

At the beginning of the year I carried $30,000 in CC debt (100% utilization), a $12k loan and scores in the low 500s. As of today, I am sitting at 40% utilization overall, my loan paid down to $9k, and scores in the mid 600s with AMEX pulling a 661 EX for my Delta Card! I plan on having all of my CCs paid down to 0% (except one, of course) by the end of the month!

I'm currently sitting at 3/24 so my next goal is the CSP or CSR, still trying to figure out if I want the Reserve or save the AF for the AMEX Platinum....

Congratulations! I am impressed. $30,000 in Credit Card debt paid down to 0 in 9 months. That is one of the most dramatic turn arounds on this forum. Keep us posted and Well Done!
