AMEX Gold Approved With 50K Sub

In the large thread in the CC forum someone posted 50K will appear with incognito mode. I did it and it worked. Approved with 50K SUB.

Is there a benefit to having this card over the Platinum?  I have the Plat already and like the idea of the Gold as well, just wondering if it’s worth it to pay another AF to Amex.
