Got approval for the Amazon Prime card with an Amazon gift card, 17K SL (26.74% APR). Woohoo! Soo happy about this, because I use Amazon for practically everything. They gave me 100 dollars in exchange for a HP, and risking that I might some day revolve a balance.
A real confidence booster that my credit profile might someday be strong enough for a mortgage, more favorable rates, things like that. The high APR doesn't really bother me since I have no intention of carrying a balance.
That's really all the apps I need to put in for now. That makes 3 new cards and one PC, in just a few weeks (including one with a 500 SL) so I shouldn't push it.
One day I'll apply for a luxury card, (CSR maybe), but not even going to try until I'm totally debt free with a score north of 750.

Congrats on your $17K starting limit!
Could you elaborate on what you mean by "They gave me 100 dollars in exchange for a HP"?
Thanks

It comes with a $100 Amazon gift card, and there is no annual fee. The HP and the shorter average age in your credit history is about the only drawback.
Got it. I was reading way more into what you wrote.
Congrats on your Amazon Prime card and the great SL!
Congrats on the approval! That 5% CB from Amazon adds up quick!
