Amazon Prime Store Card Approval

Looks like my path to managing my finances worked well. Approved for $800 CL with Amazon through the store card just now. Chose against the Chase Amazon Visa as I'm sure my c/o back in 2010 with Chase likely has me on their blacklist. That's fine. I already have a Visa and MC already, and I'm trying to keep the regular cards to a minimum so that I continue to pay those off.

Again my FICOs are right around 600. Can't wait for the WM card since I'll at least have a better idea of where my FICO is on a more frequent basis. I'm done with the app spree -- want to watch my inqs as i work toward bigger credit goals. Now have a credit account everywhere I shop.. Target ($300), Boscov's ($250), WM ($600), and Amazon ($800). Before this, my total credit line was $1950 across two cards -- with this it's now $3400, which should bring my utilization to below 50%! My goal is 15% util by summer, so i finally can get a car loan that isn't **bleep** me for interest.

Call Amazon and tell them you're planning some holiday purchases and need 5 (or 10)k. They countered me at $5k after a $1,400 approval. It's worth a shot!

Its possible but with low 600's i dont know if OP has teached that threshold. Remember alot is tied to your TU score with many Sync accounts and id say much better chance at super cli once over 650 though as always, ymmv. Nice job OP on getting cards that youll use just take care of them and in time youll have really breathable limits for your favorite places to shop

Congratulations on your new CL. Use it well and it will grow. I agree that it may be too soon to ask for that CLI. Just use it and pay it and all will be good. I love the Amazon card. I chose it over the Chase Amazon card. I use Amazon literally all the time.

Congrats! I absolutely love my Prime card, use it constantly for things for my kid! Request a CLI in a few months and watch it grow!

Yeah definitely not going to press my luck with asking for a CLI. Plus.. I don't want to go hogwild on it as I plan to use this one to finance out a new desktop computer which i REALLY need.. going to take advantage of the 12 months no interest offer. 

I'm sure with a few months of paying off these cards and keeping them positive I won't need to worry about even asking..
