Amazon Prime Store Card Approval

Congrats. They are one of the best for CLI'S. Was approved for one upon approval for $500 more, then 6 months later I went from $1300 to $5000 with no hard pull. (Call-don't use the button-ask for super high number and they will counter)

I have not called in for the CLI, should I or wait for a few months?  I did receive the gift card, just trying to decide what to use it on.  As soon as I was approved I went online to see what I might want but nothing really stood out as a must have right now.  No use to spend money on stuff that I really don't need right now.  It's a shame I waited becasue I spent $200 on gifts for my wife on Thanksgiving.

That is awesome Congratz. Im a little jealouse. I applied for the prime store card and got denied. My feelings were so hurt because I do ALOT of shopping on amazona and have been for many years. It was like a slap in the face. LOL  like how dare you not approve me. lol but whatever. Congrats to you!!!!!

I totes understand what you mean regarding what to buy. I purchased a new wallet to fit all my new cards, used the GC for it. The wallet is now so badly delayed that Amazon refunded me back the GC. So.. Hmm try to get something that you would use, you never know what will happen.

Speaking of what will happen, creditaddict gave me some good advice regarding calling in for a CLI

"Call Credit Solutions and ask for $10k, they will counter"

And if they don't approve it at least it is was a SP. Good Luck and let us know what happens.

Stumbled on Discovers free FICO Score 8 .. Experian is 628. So all these approvals are starting to make some sense now. Wish I knew what TU was. I know the synchrony cards i believe ding TU...

I believe Discover uses a TU Fico Score...

But if you needed to view your other scores you could do Credit Check Total sign up for the $1 trial and get your scores.

Just remember to call in to cancel or if you can afford $15 a month. Tell them you want to cancel, they will ask why, you can say it is to expensive. Then they will counter with $15.00 a month for one year. I think having the scores is worth the $15, so I did it.

Ooh thanks for that. i'll keep that in my back pocket to use next year before going out car shopping so i know what my scores are.

At least the one they use on that free "credit scorecard" site lists it as "FICO Score 8 based on Experian Data." We'll see. I really cannot wait to get out of this 15.9 percent car loan. It's the reason why i'm still underwater with it. Trying to make double payments to at least roll as little as possible into a new loan

If you have the credit card it is TU
