HELLO....I ALSO HAVE FINALLY GOTTEN DECENT CARDS BUT STILL HAVE ALL THE REBUILDING CARDS YOU HAD. FIRST PREM...CREDITONE, CAP ONE PLAT SEC.....I'D LOVE TO CANCEL, BUT HAVEN'T BEACAUSE THEY ARE SOME OF THE LODEST CARDS TOWARDS MY AVERAGE AGE. SHOULD I JUST CLOSE THEM AND MOVE ON. DO THEY DROP OFF RIGHT AWAY AND CRUSH MY AVERAGE AGE OR DO THEY STAY ON FOR A BIT LONGER KEEPING MY AVERAGE AGE WHERE IT IS WHILE I GAIN GROUND WITH MY NEW ONES? THANKS SO MUCH!

I would get rid of the First Premier and Credit One cards ASAP. They have did their job and are no longer need. They will still remain on your credit report for up to 10 years before they fall off completely.
GREAT! THANKS FOR THE ADVICE. Let me ask you, for the 10yrs they stay on my acct, will they still report the age and be included in my Average age? Thx.

Congrats...
GREAT!!!! Thanks again!!

Close accounts will continue to age along with your open accounts until it falls off in 10 years. Will also be included in your average age.
Congrats!
