Even then I played it cautiously, requesting only a 2X increase instead of 3X, because AMEX had declined a previous CLI request several months ago.
However, my streak of approvals continues.
FNBO approved me for the Amtrak Guest Rewards Preferred Mastercard for $3700. It offers a 30,000 point bonus for $2K spend within the first three months, as well as "Select" status for opening the card. I will be taking a long train trip early next year. So I plan to use the card for one segment of that trip, which will help to earn the bonus points to defray most of the cost of the return trip.
TD Bank approved me for their TD Cash card for $6000. Kind of a blah card overall, but it has a 0% APR for 15 months on balance transfers, a $150 bonus for $1K spend in three months, and 5% back on gas station purchases during the first six months (capped at $6000 in purchases).
Synchrony approved me for an $8100 CareCredit card. I anticipate some veterinary visits coming up. So the ability to spread those payments over time will prove helpful.
Using a mailed offer netted me an $11000 approval for Fidelity's 2% card. Again, a $150 bonus for $1K spend in three months, as well as 0% on purchases and balance transfers for 12 months.
Finally, Jovia Financial Credit Union gifted me a $20K pre-approval on their Visa Advantage card. Though it offers "only" a 2.99% introductory rate for 12 months, it does come with no balance transfer fee. Which, if you think about it, offers a slightly better deal than a card with 0% for 12 months, but 3% (or more) right off the top for a balance transfer fee.
The card has essentially nothing going for it beyond balance transfer purposes, but I couldn't pass up a $20K pre-approval. Oh, and I didn't mention Jovia did only a SP approval.
DPs:
Income: Roughly $130K
Fico Scores: Around 700
Utilization: Approximately 25%
New accounts: 0/6, 5/12, 8/24
AAoA: 2.5 years
Experian: 3 HPs for this spree. 2/12 before it.
Transunion: 1 HP for Fidelity. 1/12 before applying.

Congratulations on a great round of approvals. I think the Jovia Advantage card is an excellent card. Its regular interest rate is pretty modest, and it permanently has no balance transfer fee.
Any card with no bt fee is killer![]()
Congratulations on your approvals!
Congrats!!! I love all of those except Symphony!
