No HP for membership when I joined.

Fluky that I joined Jovia at all. It happened only because Ally cut short their checking promotion before I could sign up for it. Looking for another checking promotion, I stumbled on to Jovia's $150 checking bonus for a $100 direct deposit. Less than Ally's $200 bonus, but far easier to clear. 

A little over 6 months later they drop a $20K preapproval in my lap. Not bad for a backup plan!

Thanks. I am a Jovia member for a long time, but I have not received any pre-approval email yet nor I have checked to see if I am pre-approved for anything....Appreciated....

I made an error in the original post. The inquiries were evenly split between Experian and Transunion, two each. FNBO and TD Bank pulled Experian.

How long were you with Jovia when they pre approved a card-did you have the other card.Have they ever pre approved a safetyNet LOC? Thanks .......

I did not have the other card when I received the pre-approval for the Visa Advantage 6-9 months after joining. 

Jovia offered other pre-approvals in addition to the credit card, including the Safety LOC. Though I have so far accepted only the Visa Advantage.
