Hey myFICO family!
It's now been 3 months to the date that I first got my Apple Card, and I'm happy to report my first CLI! I was more than delighted with my original $1,000 SL, but with the new M2 Macbook Air release, I thought it might be nice to make sure the card will be able to process the payment ![]()
Goldman instantly approved the request, and my limit and APR are now $3,500 at 19.74%! Still plan on PIF monthly as I did when I started my journey back in March, but I was quite surprised at the 250 percent increase that was offered! Being able to pay the balance and have it posted immediately has been so convenient, and BofA has always been quick about reflecting the payment.
DPs as follows : GS may have soft-pulled TransUnion at 758 FICO 8 with one inquiry from GS when the account was opened. Spend in the past three months was around $1,750 due to tuition, but will likely be less in the next three months, so not expecting another increase of this proportion ![]()
Many, many thanks to all of you for all the feedback and advice -- I have truly learned so much from the community over the past few years! 🎉
Congratulations on your Apple Card CLI!!

Did they lower your APR as well? Or is it the same?

WooHoo!! Congratulations on your Apple Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
Congratulations on your Apple Card CLI! It looks like you will be ready to purchase that M2 MacBook Air once it comes out next month. Enjoy! ![]()
Congrats on your CLI! GS seems to give relatively low SLs on Apple Card but generous CLIs, so it seems like you did the right thing by getting (and using) the Apple Card before you needed to make an Apple purchase. Enjoy that shiny new MacBook Air M2! 😀
