Well I went for it. There’s some question of whether they’re pulling Chex and CoreLogic every time they do a SP so I decided it’s not worth holding out for a higher limit and burning Chex inquiries up.

$2500 @ 23.99%

We will see if it grows with time. Ordered my titanium card too.

Well of course you did. You had to have a partner for PayBoo.

Congrats Saeren on the approval. That's a nice SL.

What’s funny is I’m probably going to go for the regular B&H card so I can finance larger stuff. 🤦‍♂️

Thanks! I actually don’t regret it. I spend way too much money on iTunes so having a dedicated card will force me to think before buying that super deluxe package of stuff that’s mostly junk going forward in my games.

The $86 I have put on there will be my only iTunes spend for a month. Goldman doesn’t seem to have a problem with Raise purchases of iTunes gift cards either so I’m only losing 1% vs going through NFCU Member Deals and I don’t have to wait until I have accumulated $50 to redeem for cash.

Congrats, Saeren! 🎉🎉🎉

Have you used yours, yet?

Thank you!

I haven’t yet. Honestly the online stores that take Apple Pay are stores I would spend way too much money at and end up not being able to PIF. Like Newegg, for example, I have my eyes on a new video card. $800-$1300 range depending on which one. Would use the Cash Magnet and it’s 0% until 10/2020 for that.

For iTunes, I buy gift cards from Raise. Raise takes Apple Pay but I don’t know if Goldman is going to be fussy about buying gift cards.

I have been wanting to pick up an external SSD though and Newegg has them. If I can pair my Shoprunner for free shipping with Apple Pay to check out, I may grab one.

How about you? Any purchases on that huge card yet?

You're going to laugh. Just got tea this morning so like $2 bucks lol I do have apple pay here everywhere from grocery stores to gas stations so I'm used to using it for everything but didn't had a card with a least 2% back to used it more.

You did better than I did.

I was too lazy to hit Raise up for some discounted gift cards last night so when I did a $50 purchase in my game, like $13 of it was billed to my gift card balance and the rest hit my Apple Card.

I wasted about 3.5% by not picking up cards from Raise so I won’t do it this way often but at least I can say I did my “use the card at least once within 6 months” for something more than a couple bucks towards my Amazon balance. 😂

I really do need to stop spending money on this game though... 😩

I got an alert from Apple Card immediately, both Wallet and email, asking if I made the transaction. It went through so I don’t mind. Most people don’t spend $40 on a single iTunes purchase 😅

Oh wow! Smiley Wink I took it for a spin as I was running errands today and it was nice to see the colors changing per spend.

Mine has orange and magenta now — iTunes and Raise.

Thats likely what I’ll use it for so it’s gonna be my orange sherbet card 😂

I had never heard of Raise so I Googled it—discount GCs. I jist love the stuff I learn from this forum. Thanks for that tidbit of info.

I haven’t gotten the Apple invite yet. I will apply just to see what the limit will be but I swear I want to stay in the garden. If it’s like $20K, I may waiver. Note how I put the CL really high in order to have a reason to not accept. 😂🤣

|| AmX Cash Magnet $40.5K || NFCU CashRewards $30K || Discover IT $24.7K || Macys $24.2K || NFCU CLOC $15K || NFCU Platinum $15K || CitiCostco $12.7K || Chase FU $12.7K || Apple Card $7K || BOA CashRewards $6K

Raise is awesome. It makes me feel a bit better about my iTunes spending habits when I can get a total 7-10% discount. 🤣

Yeah we all say that we are just gonna check but that forbidden fruit will be hanging out in the back of your head. Might be best not to check 🤣
