This is my first non-secured card! Yipeeee! Approved for $350 using the shopping cart trick.
Has anyone called up and asked for an increase immediately? Am I pushing my luck if I do this? If I buy ONE unmentionable from Victoria's Secret, I'll be well above the 10% utilization of the card.
Thanks for any advice!

Supposedly, VS is one of the slow growers. You are welcome to try it but I wouldn't count on it.
Congrats on the approval!

Grats on your new VS card ![]()
Congrats..
Hurts NOTHING to try, just don't get your hopes up! After the 9th statement cuts you should be good for one, but never hurts to try! Good luck!

Congratulations!
Went online and hit luv button after 5th statement and got a $350 increase. Some people suggest just hitting it when you want since it is a SP, and when you get an increase from hitting it, keep on hitting until you get the 7-10 day message. It's all SPs for VS. I'd just go try hitting that button online right now to see if you get something! ![]()
I have the VS card and have had it since October and hit the LUV button every month and they always get the same message, Your account is too new, most people have to wait 9 months for an increase from these cards. I figure it will happen eventually and until then I use and then pay off.
