I posted about applying for the Amex BCE on Friday and have been chewing over applying for the Amex Platinum, but the hefty AF had me hesitant since we're not *huge* travelers.

Somehow I came across the AF being waived for active duty servicemembers (and spouses), and since I'm a spouse, it was oviously a no-brainer! I have NO idea how I missed this all along!

Applied and approved - two Amex cards arriving in the mail this week now! I also have to confess that I've spent just about the whole weekend reading this forum - the wealth of knowledge here is amazing

After these two apps and a CareCredit app a couple weeks ago, it might be time for me to go off to the garden.
