Approved for CSP and Amex BCE within three weeks of each other!

Hello all,

I have been lurking these forums for a week or two after falling hard into the credit card hobby maybe two months ago. I was trying to plan slowly but decided to get my feet wet and apply for a couple cards to build relationships with my target lenders. With an income of $38,000 (more when combined with spouses income, about 1.7x) and a relitively inexperienced credit profile, I did not expect to get the CSP, but I was approved instantly! 

Prior to this I had the Discover It Chrome Student ($3700, increased very recently from $2700) and a Credit Union CC for $500. I also have four student loans with interest repayment plans, so I was showing an additional 1-2ish year repayment history for each. FICO Scores hovered around 730 for all three major CRAs.

Approved for the CSP at $5000 (the minimum, I hear), and the Amex BCE at $1800. I look forward to learning more on these forums and trying to plan the next move in my credit card journey.
