Thanks everyone!! This is so exciting.
I plan to use no more than 30% and PIF. Hopefully that works. I am just stoked to even have an unsecured card.
BTW, what is the "love button" ?

Congratulations! The "love button" is the credit line increase request on the website.

Re: Approved for QuicksilverOne!!

Nice job!  I got my QS1 right after I got my first CRA post from Credit1.  I also have been rebuilding.

I ran "everything" I could through the $2k that I was approved for and paid it off over and over throughout the month.

After my 3rd statement cut, I made sure it was at $0 balance and requested a CLI. I got a $3500 increase to $5500.  I then went to the online chat and requested a change to regular QS.  This will help you get rid of the $39 fee each year!

I am still waiting for the credit steps to kick in after 5 statements.  My credit steps email told me I would go up to $2500 total CLI.

If you stay in good standing they seem really ready to give you more credit!  GOOD LUCK!

Congats on the approval.  Although Capital One likes heavy useage with their cards.  I was able to get a increase on all three cards within 3 months.

Thank you for the wealth of knowledge I have learned from these forums. I am logging off as of November 9, 2022. I wish everyone great success.

This^

I did same thing, charged everything I could even up to 90% and then paid in full. Sometimes couple of times before statment cut.

After 3 months went from 3k to 10K, and upgraded to QS with no AF.

I'm not sure how credit steps works, but after 3 months I'm going to try another CLI.

With Cap1 as long as you use it, you going to get CLI till you get to some kind of limt, maybe is 50K!

Re: Approved for QuicksilverOne!!

Congrats on your approval!

I was in the Credit Steps program with my card. I started with a $500 limit and received a $250 increase on my sixth statement. On my other card with Credit Steps I had a $2k initial limit and received a $500 increase on my 6th statement.

If I remember correctly, my welcome letter for Credit Steps told me what I would receive for an increase on the 6th statement.
