I think Bread sent me a PreApproval mailer for this card, but I tossed it because I wanted to apply with Chase. Maybe I should look at the rewards again.
@firefox100 wrote:Question please are you saying you get 3 points cash back for groceries I thought it was 2% cash back for everything.
The Bread Cashback is:
2% flat
The Bread Rewards is:
x3 points at gas, grocery, restaurants, and utility purchases.
x1 point everything else
25% extra points every billing cycle with 20 or more swipes (Points: 3.75 - 1.25)
And either card give the honor of being in with Comenity
Congrats!!! Appreciate the DP.

There are 2 Bread AMEX cards, one is light blue ( Bread rewards AMEX) 3 pct cb on some categories and 1 pct on everything and the other card is dark blue ( Bread cashback AMEX) which gives 2 pct cb on everything. I have both, Bread cashback AMEX 8000 cl, and Bread rewards AMEX 4650 limit. both have a fairly high interest rate though.
Ok thank you I have the Bread cashback which gives2% cashback on every thing. The high intrest rate does not hurt me in any way I pay off the balance every month. I would not get the other card which gives 3%, better card.the savor mastercard gives 3% back on groceries and eating out and some other categories it is much better card capital one credits payments right away.my
