Just wanted to say thank you for the advice I have received on this forum regarding BOA credit line increases. A few years ago I obtained a BOA Amtrak card in 2021 which was promptly sold off to FNBO. It annoyed me because BOA moved most of my credit line leaving me with a mere $2k on my Alaska Air which the bank would never raise over the last four years.
So I sock drawered the Alaska card and applied for the Premium Rewards Elite in Sept 2024. BoA gave me a $25k SL on that card. I since moved from Gold to Platinum Honors. I used the card heavily never paying interest over the last ten months. In June the CLI button showed up for the first time. Based on advice from this forum, I brashly asked for a CLI to $95k and the soft pull approved an increase from $25k to $45k. I never would have assumed I would be granted a $20k increase after the trouble I had with no CLIs on the Alaska card. Thus, I never would have received such a large increase, had it not been that some on this forum suggested asking for a large $95k CL. Thank you!
Along with the SUB, I have built up enough points in ten months to redeem for about $4000 in airline tickets with their 20 percent bonus for air redemption so the card has been a good fit for me.
