BOA- Preferred CASH Card !! Approval after I called !!

I am so excited, I wanted just one more card and it had to be a bank card.  

AMEX was kind enough to give me a card a few weeks ago and I did the SCT for 4 store cards,  so  I knew if I could just get one more bank card to approve me I would be all set on my build.   

My Fico score was taken from Experian at 654 --  I initally got the " we are looking at your application, need to review a few things" status and that was 3 days ago.   I finally had a chance to call in this afternoon  since my status had not changed....and after a few minutes I was told congrats and I was approved !!  $1700 credit limit.  

So happy because Chase and Citi denied me,  I have a paid CO with Capital One that is almost at year old and I didn't know which way to turn next.  

Thankful does not describe it enough !!

I finally "feel: like I can sit back and "garden" for a while now and watch my score grow.....   I have done alot of HP the past month but I didn't want to stop until I had gotten one more bank card.   So happy I can stop now and reap my hardwork and all the cleaning up I have done to my score over the past few months.  

Excited to see what everything looks like by this fall.   It's my goal to to walk into any dealership or my Credit Union and KNOW I am top tier credit when I request financing....

Great job!!  This card is a GROWER.  With responsible use and at 6 months you can ask for a CLI (link will appear on your online account page)  With BOA you ask for 25k and they wil counter!!  Good luck!!

GEEZ,  looking at what is in your combined wallets,  I can't believe some of you are still being denied with anyone !!  

I will try again this fall with Capital one,  give it a little over a year to "forget I exist"  hahaha   --   I did pay them though so hoping that helps !
