I see someone has decided to follow in my footsteps with GBank. Be aware that this card is seriously missing certain features that would make it worth using compared to other 2% cards. You cannot do most servicing like change the due date, changing products(no other accounts), CLi's, etc. The issuer is reasonably easy to approve and I guess the verification is not that hard. I did have a better camera though perhaps.
Personally I like the white card design that reminds me of Blispay and the fact that now you can say your a real G.
I apped for this card after seeing your post. I too liked the design. For some reason, I never jumped on the Blispay train as I rarely carry a balance and so I never had the need for a hidden TL.

You seam to be mistaken. Blispay was not a hidden TL. It reported like every other credit card. The main trick with Blispay was that any transaction $199+ or maybe $200+ would get an automatic 6mo period of 0% for repayment. As you can imagine most of the cash quickly got tied up in the loans while card holders got 2% back on everything. Also the APR for the time was quite reasonable at ~19% Fixed so some people just let purchases go for years without repayment. The only thing better is because so few people got it the card number would have lots of zero's in it. For example my Blispay card number had 6 zero's right in the middle and an additional zero at the end. Was super fun entering it online.

Blispay was released sometime in April 2016. Starting 9/2016 is when Blispay started reporting to EX. MyFicoers flocked to this card because it was a hidden TL. It was the FOTM for quite a while. The appeal wasnt beause of promo financing. There were other 2% cards out there ( Citi Double Cash, Penfed Power Cash card to name a few ). Another 2%er was not in itself the cause of the stampede. It was the hidden TL.
Congrats!! Better late than never!!![]()
Congratulations!
Just a reminder any comments about how the card is working and has any one requested increase yet thank you. Just wateing to see what others thing of G bank visa creditcard before going for the card.
GBank does not offer CLi's. What you get as an SL is it. At least that was what I was told by the rep when I tried to adjust the due date by calling in.
Yesterday got another pre approval offer from G bank for their visa creditcard, would you guys mind giving any comments and experiences about this card and doing business with G Bank thank you.
