Best Method for Applying 2 for AMEX cards Simultaneously?

Greetings all, I'll get straight to the point. I am NOT a current AMEX member; my only cards are Freedom ($11.5k) and Barclaycard Rewards($1300). My desire is to obtain two cards: AMEX Blue Cash Preferred and AMEX Platinum. If approved ( FICO® 3-BUREAU CREDIT MONITORING = 767/783/759), I plan on utilizing the the 3x CLI on the BCP, and being more than satisfied my (modest) card portfolio for quite a while. I'd love to apply for both at the same time and be done with it. My questions to the community are: What methods will A)maximize my chances for approvals for both, B)give me the best chance for the highest initial CL on BCP (total util is currently 0%), and C)possibly result in 1 hard pull instead of 2 (although this isn't as important to me)? i.e In what order should I apply, does AMEX even allow simultaneous apps, do i need to do any browser window trick, should I use a the site, open a chat with a rep, or call in? etc. I'd really like give myself the best possible odds at this thing Thanks in advance to any and all willing to provide insight!

Welcome to the forums

Apply for the Platinum card first, then the BCP.  You don't need simultaneous apps, just apply for the first, get the results, and if approved, apply for the second.

Many reports of only 1 HP if you get the charge card first then the revolver.

i apped for the edc and bce at the same time and got approved for the bce then had to wait 4 days before my other app was approved. The csr told me when u app twice in a day they wait 4 days between apps and use the same pull.

Thanks so much, Irish80 & newhis. I'm ecstatic to report that I applied in the order you suggested and was accepted for both! AMEX seemed like an unattainable dream a year ago (no credit history, had to start with a secured card)...

Congrats.

My DW also started a year ago with BoA secured and Discover student. She applied for PRG and BCP, they say she has to wait 5 days to process BCP. I hope they approve her with a nice limit.
