What's done is done... maybe next time you'll be able to to maximize your cash back.Think of it this way you just got $35 back in like 2 months. lol Wondering why you didn't put it on Sallie Mae? It's still 1% but you'd get your points/money back faster.
True :] Just thought that Amex has better customer service and pretty good travel protection (I assume) if anything goes wrong.. Also, I have about $170 cashback already sitting in my Amex, and I'm not using the Amex much lately.. So this is a nice round up if I want to withdraw the money.
Also just an update, I finally pulled the trigger and applied for the CSP. Approved for 11.2k.
Will definitely use this card abroad since it has no FTF. There's also a trip coming up that I can put the expense on CSP, too!
Well, very nice! Congrats! Better to have used it on the Amex anyway now that you said you had 170 -- since you're only allowed to redeem in 25 dollar intervals brings you right up to $200+
Congrats!
Grats on your CSP OP

Congrats, go for the Freedom now too. I got both the same week.
Thanks. I heard that you can't apply two Chase cards within a month. Is that true?

False!
Myself and several others have gotten approved for multiple Chase cards the same day/week.
I see. I guess I should open a chase checking first then apply for the freedom card?
congrats
