Hi,

I applied on 3/13 for the increase. a bit scheptical because eventhough I'm at 3/24, I'm gardening.

The increase wasn't automatic, I received an email on 3/14 to call. First thing the rep says is "unlock your TU report". I have a bk from 20/14 only showing on my TU report; when I applied and was approved for my other Chase cards and they only checked EX or EQ (both clean).

After confirming twice that it was going to be a soft pull, the rep asks me, about the bk, I say "it's been 10 years and I have better handle of my credit now". Reps comes back 3 minutes later with a 5k increase!!!

Congrats on your CLI! You're the 2nd one I've read recently who was asked to unfreeze TU. Maybe it's something they need if the CLI isn't approved automatically and it has to go to manual review.

My recent CLI was granted without unfreezing anything, and I have all 3 frozen, but mine didn't go to review either.
