Never got an increase above the $500 in over a year. Always paid on time and in full. No baddies on my reports, low utilization etc. Was told by their credit department that i needed a 680. I been over that amount for months. 3 months ago i tried for an increase and at that time i knew my score was over 700. On the first denial they said score too low. I try again 90 days after the first denial. I am told my score is too low. I knew my score with equifax was 718. I have myfico subscription. I called them back today telling them a good earful about knowing my score is over 700 and after putting me on hold they come back and tell me that there was an error in submitting the increase form. She tells me that she was able to look at the report and see the error. She reprocessed the form and asked me what limit i was requesting. I said 5k because my limits on other cards run from 5k to 10k. So after processing the form she said it was approved and she had her supervisor assisting her. I argued with the guy the last time and he kept telling me my score was 675 or 676 which i knew was not true. i pulled a 3b equifax report from myfico and on none of the versions of fico score was anything lower than 700. So either the guy that i spoke to the first time for some reason just made a mistake whether it be intentional or an honest error i don't know. But at least i got my increase finally.
I went thru a similar experience. Was given a CLD stating my score did not qualify for the SL I recieved at the start...MY SCORE IS HIGHER THAN BACK THEN....Even supervisors won't help, saying give them 90 days and apply for CLI...WITH A HARD PULL..NO THANKS----
