Just checked Credit Karma, today to see if my new Express Credit Card (Comenity) was reporting, and it did about a couple of days after activation. Also, to my suprise I notice my FAKO score went up 44 points from 655. I'm like damn, is this all from the new account? I scrolled down a little bit more, I saw that on the 13th, that Capital One gave me a frickin" 2000 dollar bump!!! Initial CL was 500, new CL now is $2500 total! I thought I was only gonna go up to 750, since I was enrolled in the credit steps. Capital One is my first credit card, before them I had absoultely no credit history, no loans, no nothing. Just a college kid, trying to do something. I got this card back in August of last year, can't remember the exact date of activation. But more than likely it probably has been 6 months recently. My credit utilization definitely got helped in the right direction lmao. I hope my Citi Forward Student card follows suit and gives me a nice CLI, next month will be 6 months with those guys. However, Citi did give me a nice starting CL though, but for now Cap One is the highest!!!
I had my mind set on axing these guys after I got better situated with credit, because I heard they're pretty stingy with CLI and my card has no great rewards and a frickin AF I think of $25 a year. But since, they gave a nice CLI and it's technically my oldest card, I guess I'll suffer with the AF for now. Guys, if any of you know how to product change from this card though, please let me know. I would really appreciate a card with no AF from these guys though. Thanks for reading!!!
Congrats!
however $25 AF is not such a huge AF kid ![]()
Many Thanks!!!!
P.S. I did carry balances from month to month, in the last six months since I got this card. However, I always paid on time and more than minimum payment.
Thank you, unfortunately I don't have the Cash Rewards card. If it has no AF, I wouldnt mind PCing to it if I was able to?

Congrats on the Auto-CLI - you are obviously doing something right!! ![]()
In regards to PCing....I just did this myself and they made it so easy. I used the "Chat Now" feature on the online account. I asked to pc to the Cash Rewards card (the Jimmy Fallon card) and I also requested that they remove my annual fee as I was about to be billed for it next month. The first rep I got was really nice, but she had to bring another rep on to handle my specific request. The second rep was awesome - she got it done for me and it was painless. She said I may inadvertently be billed for the annual fee next month, but that it would be credited back to my account within 60 days. That works for me.
Back in October, I called the Exec Office to get a CLI on my card. I was stagnate at $1300 and asked to be raised to $8000. They granted my request. Again, it was painless. I was pleasantly surprised. Cap One had redeemed themselves in my eyes. Of course, as always, YMMV.
Good luck in your quest to pc!!!
Congrat that a nice CLI from Cap One
Congrats on CLI you may be able to PC to rewards card but you may have to go through EO
