My 3rd statement cut yesterday on my Quicksilver 1 mastercard, so I decided to hit the luv button, totally expecting to get the usual 3-5 day message. To my surprise, I was approved! My account (still in Credit Steps) went from $500 to $1500 instantly! I have to say a big "thank you" to the wonderful people on this forum. Earlier this year I would have never had the courage to even apply for the Cap1 cards, let alone know about asking for CLIs ahead of Credit Steps. Thanks to all of you for these wonderfuls, helpful posts that have helped me rebuild my credit!

Congrats!

Try CLI every 3 months and after 5K upgrade to Quicksilver with no AF.

I used it as Debit card/Everyday card making lots of small transactions and paying it in full couple of times a month and got a huge CLI. Cap1 likes transactions and they'll reward you for it.

Thanks! I've used this one quite a bit over the last 3 months and have paid it at least twice a month. I'm definitely going to keep doing that. I can't wait for Credit Steps to kick in and see how much I get then!
