Congratulations on your product upgrade!
Congrats
Congratulations on your Capital One Platinum approval!
@quikj9 wrote:@Vector3D I think you made the right call going with the Platinum over the OS1. It seems to be pretty difficult getting out of that annual fee.
You should be able to PC to the QS using this upgrade link after your card's been open 91 days with no issue. I did the same earlier this year.
Also, congrats on your rebuild and your student loan rehab. I'm on a similar path, but jealous that you got your Discover secured card a month before I did. I'll look for your announcement in the graduation thread in a couple of months.
Thanks! Can't wait to graduate the Disco, the cashback is really incredible (especially for a secured card!). I have to say the rehabbed student loans was one of the best things I've ever done; I've been going back to school but have been ineligible for financial aid up until this fall, having to pay for every class out of pocket was too much stress to have when I'm trying to focus on getting good grades!!

Congratulations on your approval!
Grtz on your unsecured card!

On a side note, you said "Took less than a minute to upgrade". Does that mean you've already PC'd the Platinum to Quicksilver or am I misunderstanding?
@Anonymous Hi there. Thats correct. I checked the offer link posted and the PC process took less than a minute. Not sure how long the offer was there but Platinum MC was opened 11/19. Hope this helps

Thanks for the info, I had a suspicion about this and looked it up today which pretty much confirmed that; low starting limit, previous burn with CO, . Oh well, at least I'm not bucketed with an AF card (at least not from CO)!
