Just tried the automatic online CLI request for my Capital One Platinum MasterCard.. It’s a 10 year old card that I've left at its $900 credit line for years. I was surprised that the button instantly returned an approval to up it by $5000. My FICOs average mid/high 700s, still wasn't expecting it. This is the image that comes up when it works..(can't find how to do images in the post, sorry). p.s. I'm new here. I got your back.

Holy SNAP that's a good increase! Congrats!
Congrats!
That's a balloon I'd love to see. Maybe in a year, since I just got a whopping $250 CLI.

That's because you can't just post images on the boards, you have to upload them to your album and post them from there. ![]()

Congrats on your CLI ![]()
Thanks guys / girls, nice to be here.
Yeah the balloon was a nice touch, kinda felt like a party lol.
My credit behavior the last few years might have helped.. consistently paid large chunks, almost never just the minimum payment. Maybe 1 out of 3 months I'd do the minimum. But I WAS using the card heavily (not in amount but frequency): Typically running it up to ~300ish then paying it down to $20-40 the next month. About every month for the last few years. This can be done with bills you'd pay anyway, like cel phone, or food etc just "laundering" them through the card
p.s. Awesome @Shogun! thanks
Great increase, grats ![]()
Congrats on the CLI!
