what is odd is I never got my capital one secured increase and it's been about a year. But I applied and got approved for this. My scores were an average of 515-530 when I got the capital one secured.
Capital one is goofy like that. Their lower limit cards are typically bucketed and don't really grow much. After you've had your Platinum for 6 months you'll have completed your credit steps increase on it (to $500 I assume?) and if they have other cards you like check their prequalify tool at that time. if they like the way you've used your current cards, chances are they would approve you with a much higher limit on your next card (provided your scores are higher by then.) Congrats on your new plat card!
