stenosis with AP diameter of the canal measuring 5 mm. Mild right and
moderate to severe left foraminal stenosis.

C7-T1- Mild to moderate spinal stenosis. Moderate left foraminal
stenosis.

Impression-

1. Severe spinal stenosis at C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7 with significant
foraminal stenosis at these levels.
2. Suspected myelomalacia at C5-C6 and C6-C7.
3. Moderate left foraminal stenosis at C7-T1.
4. Moderate spinal stenosis at C3-C4.

had C3-4 and 5-6 fused with bolts and bone many years ago.. nice 120k surgery.. Thank god insurance took care of all of it and negoiated the price down to around 80k..  Was no fun at all, but felt a need to respond when i saw this lol

Yes, well my neurosurgeon said he never liked doing 4 level fusion but my case was so severe it had to be done. He was the best neurosurgeon for many miles...Dr. Esce. As soon as he saw my MRI he put me in a collar, and he said any fall could cut my spinal cord in half.

It’s totally not... I went in and had my consultation today and if I didn’t need four teeth extracted, I would be on the hook for $910 but Medicaid will pay for it if it’s more than three so I’m looking at $290 out of pocket for the oral surgery with Medicaid picking up $1500 of the $1790 bill and then whatever dental work I end up needing after the fact I’ll have to pay in full for unless I wait until next year to get it done. Some of it, like a root scaling, cannot wait so I suspect I will get at least another $2K of use before the year is out. 

I lucked out and this oral surgeon actually has reasonable rates. I go in for my surgery on 9/5. 

@sarge12 That’s seriously wild, glad to hear that they caught it before it killed you or left you totally paralyzed! I will have to make an appointment with my doctor at some point to get some scans done... MRI and I don’t get along though, I can’t lie still on my back in my bed without having a panic attack so yeah.
