hello everyone I am new to this forum but recently have started in the "game". My question is regarding my application recently for the ritz Carlton visa. I applied on 4/6 and was not instantly approved. I Calle the automated line on day one and got the "2 week message" on day 2 I called and since than have gotten the "30 day message". As of today I am still getting the message. My current EQ score which they pulled is 675. My utilization is approx. 9% and my AAOA is 1.6 years because of recent cards I have obtained. I have 11 inquiries on file on equifax. My Trans score is 715 with 5 inquiries. Now since October 2015 I have gotten Cap venture and quicksilver with 3k limits. In February I did an Amex app fest and got 4 Amex in one day platinum, bLuke, and delta. Surprisingly those have not showed up on any credit report yet. My discover it form feb has a 6.5k limit and my restoration hardware is 9k limit. Again no card has more that 9% utilization some with 0 balance. I do not have a chase card but did apply for the sapphire 2 months ago and was turned down because of the 5/24 rule. Just curious what everyone's thoughts are on my chances. My income is 150k btw.
Unfortunately Chase has implimented this new rule across all their cards... I normally get approved right away with chase 100% before now i cant even get unlimited or marriot card. both went into two weeks reviews.
I am PC customer with chase but due to new policies its hard to get cards from chase. here is the article.

hope this help.
The fact that you've gotten the 30 day message and 2 week is good
The dreaded 7-10 message is what you don't want to see
Just let it ride and good luck
It may take some time but be patient
I was told the 5/24 rule hasn't applied yet to the co-branded cards that why I applied last week. I go to the ritz often for clients and would be a very useful card.

I didn't see anything about all cards just what we've known for months which include
FU,CSP,Slate,Freedom not co-branded cards as of yet
Yeah from everything I've read is to not call unless I get an actual denial letter.
The 5/24 rule is not being applied to the cobranded cards as of yet. The Yahoo article is nothing new.
I was approved with a 710 TU, 3 years history, 6 cards within a year, 8 month average age of credit, 10% Utilization, 150k a year, 20k in savings with Chase... Approved for 20k. Go figure.
I did not recieve an instant approval. Got the e-mail 2 days later. Account showed in my Chase online account within 24 hours of application though.
Still getting "30 day message " as of this morning. Does this ever change through out the day? Just curious what takes so long and what the actual process is they do. It seems the 30 day message when it's prolonged is a good sign but you just never know with chase .
So as a tip I heard I called the "verification line" making sure not to get lending. She was very nice and said oh this is being handled by ritz Carlton directly. Let me transfer you over and they may ask a few security verification questions. I said ok but when she went to transfer I hung up in case it was lending and I know you don't want to talk to them. My question is is there a Ritz Carlton Department? Could they be setting up my rewards number or was she just lying and that's lending lol. My auto message still says 30 days btw.
