I applied on November 10, not expecting approval based on the response below:
I did get a letter from them 2 weeks later stating to call them to verify some info (I think my identity IIRC), but I never did. This past Wednesday, Dec. 10 (not realizing I'm reaching out 30 days exactly from applying lol), I called which I thought was the Fraud Department (888-270-2127, only learning yesterday this is actually the RECON. phone #, haha), 12 minutes before it closed, spoke to a nice dude over seas, basically confirming a few bits of info., mainly the phone #that I used on the original application because I no longer have it, and with enthusiasm, replied "AWESOME! & CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR APPROVAL!!". Total time spent on the phone was 15 minutes, and I was like "Really, thats it? This is all it took and my lazy ass thought I was declined, therefore didn't bother reaching out a month ago, got approved? SMH.
Anyways, lol. Starting SL is $5k, which I thought is nice.
Now, around midnight this morning I applied for the Ink Business Unlimited card, only to receive an identical response to the CSP application lol:
I'm not saying the results are going to be the same.....but I sure hope they will be, haha. Also, this time I won't wait a month to reach out for results. Maybe tonight/tomorrow I will reach out to their Business Recon.
Also below is the response I got when submitting the Ink Unlimited application on the webpage:
Fingers crossed!
Congrats on the CSP approval!
Thanks!
Congrats on the CSP approval! You just snuck in with that $5k SL, but in is in and that's what matters!
haha, I appreciate that. Initially, I thought "Man, if I had reached out to Chase a few weeks after applying, or when I got the request verification letter, could I have gotten a higher limit, etc." lol, but I'm happy regardless. Actually, I'm happier that the approval process over the phone was literally verifying my cell # on the application, and thats it haha.
I'm praying the CIU will be just as smooth!

Congrats on your Chase Sapphire Preferred approval, @Fmahmud84! It's a great card. ![]()
I've been a long-time Chase customer and they made me go through that fraud verification multiple times over the last few years. I can't remember the last instant approval I ever got with them. Glad it worked out for you!

Congrats and good luck!
Appreciate it! This is my first Chase product so I'm pretty new to their services. TBH I didn't expect to get approved, or if I did, I figured they would have made me jump through the hoops and drawn out the process for several weeks.
at the end of the day, it was me who drew out the process of approval because I just didn't believe I would have gotten it so therefore, I told myself "what's the point." Wednesday night, 7:45 PM I was like "f*#k it" haha. at the beginning I did not know anything about the numbers you can call to have your application reconsidered, so after spending quite some time on the forums the past several weeks, I was like what the hell let me try.
Glad I did, all things to you guys!
" We reviewed your recent application for a new CHASE Visa Signature business credit card account, but we
did not approve your request because:
""You have too many active accounts or too much available credit"".
ahh man, but to be fair I kinda figured this one wasn't going to happen, lol. Was worth a shot.
