Congrats! This is a great 1st tier starter card if that makes sense. I was there when they first started the Sapphire Preferred as the highest tier except for Maybe the Ritz Carlton you cant get any more.
this is one of the Visa Signature's that you must be able to have a $5k CL to start with to get approved!
That said, they are really heavily pushing that card. CK & Experian are both telling me to apply and I've already had the card and stopped using it lol.
Wow, really? I have to admit, being able to be even considerate to get this card, let alone to actually get it, feels pretty good.
That's some rich history right there, and I'm pretty proud to be apart of it.
which is exactly why I think I need to do this reconsideration for the ink card 😂.
today, we will not even tomorrow, but sometime in the middle of next week, I feel like I must. This is the only card I've earned (feels **bleep** good to say that ha ha) in a long time. Being under 5/24, all non-vantage scores are hitting early 800s and utilization is under 10%.
You know what's funny, is that the past two days I've been reading a lot of threads here about reconsideration for all sorts of business cards and how to explain to the reps about why my business needs this card, following that impressive chart about what to do in what situation, and all of the questions being asked to all of you members regarding why and how you guys were eligible to get the cards, Questions being asked by the credit card agents and stuff, And trying to come up with my honest answers for each of those questions were potentially being asked by these representatives. Almost feels like an adventure lol.
May I ask, Based on the letter, I got, If this really is the only reason why I'm being denied, How should I go about approaching and answering this question coherently, ultimately convincing the reps that this card will greatly help and make my business thrive?
1 - You have too many active accounts or too much available credit
And thanks for the help, everyone!
EDIT: I realize I must be leaving out plenty of important info so I apologize in advance for that! I'm pretty new here in regards to fixing and improving my credit, how to obtain more of it to safely, using it to enhance and improve, well everything lol. Whatever info you guys need in order to possibly help me out, just asking answer to the best of my abilities.
Otherwise I've been a long time lurker here for years, this is a great space and believe me I've gotten years of useful credit education from these forms. Thank you all.

@Fmahmud84, we're getting too far off-topic into business cards for this "Credit Card Approvals" forum. It's for personal credit only. Since the application involves a business account and they go through separate underwriting, I suggest you begin a new thread in the "Business Credit" and let us help you out there. It would also be helpful to lay out your cards by limit, reported household income, and business nature and income. Hope to see you over there and congrats again on the Preferred approval!

I appreciate that, thanks! I will definitely pick your brain about business credit soon, but I guess not too soon....because I'm a forgetful idiot. Just for the hell of it, I did count all cards I've gotten recently and almost a year back.....unfortunately for me, the CSP makes card# 5, lol. Ahh, i'm kicking my self, I'm learning all these things way too late, and thats terrible for a 41yr. old, such as my self lol. If I had known about this, I would have taken the INK before the CSP, but its still a fine card.
I look forward to conversing/learning from you Lot going forward!
Good stuff - congrats on your CSP approval
