Last approval was for the Citi Premier on Dec 26 through manual review. Waited to check my updated scores before applying for the Citi Rewards +. Applied on 1/8, received instant approval. After being denied on two applications for the Premier due to the amount of inquiries, I was fully expecting to be denied for the Rewards + as well. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Citi Premier pulled Equifax for both applications. I assume the Rewards + will be the same.
