I’ve been in search for a back-up to my Capital One QS—a no-AF, no-FTF, cashback card. Since all of my cards are Visas, I decided to set my sights on a Mastercard. I looked into a handful of products that have been highly recommended on these forums. Unfortunately, #1 I couldn’t be a member of (NFCU cashRewards), #2 charges FTF (Citi Double Cash), #3 reinstated FTF (PayPal Cashback), and #4 doesn’t give full cashback value on statement credits (SoFi Credit Card).
Luckily, #5 seemed to fit the bill. Today, I received a text notifying that my app is approved. The SUB is $150 after $500 spend within 3 months, plus 0% APR on BT for 15 months (4% fee). I have no prior relationship with Citizens Bank.
