Credit ONe Amex APPROVED $5,000 CL

I have little debt now (paid alot down over the past 18 months) 2013 BK and scores hover 680. I have had a credit one card for several years and got a preapproval email and it stated $5K line so I applied & approved.  Just weird from Creditone.

Highest limit I think I've ever heard of from Credit One.

Would make more sense with a $5k limit, but does Capital One send pre-approvals with stated credit limits on them ? I know Credit One does. I've also seen the "Up to $_____" pre-approvals before. I've never seen one from Cap One, not saying they don't. 

Plus OP would have to be confusing AMEX as well since most new Cap One apps are Mastercard, except Venture/VO and Journey being Visa.

Yeah, I was under the impression that CreditOne's highest CL's were $2,500 - $3,000, IIRC.  Definitely not $5K right off the bat 🤷🏼‍♂️.  Interesting.
