Congrats!
How did you get Cap1 to credit back the annual fee? That annual fee it me hard when I least expected it!
Congrats!
I applied and got the card in November..$300 CL....$75 AF, 23% APR....after 1st year, the AF is billed monthly at $6.75. My credit is bad so i'm fine with it...altho I just now found out, that interest starts the moment a purchase is posted...which kinda confused me, because I made a $200 purchase on it plus the $75 AF...I ended up paying the card in full about a week later...I didn't see anywhere where they had charged interest...regardless, I'm stashing that card away...letting it age for a year and bye bye...i'll just use my Cap1 secured for now, and see what's up in 6 months.
@anca21bi
E-Mail to CEO of Cap1, which gets forwaded to EO, got fee waived, credit limit increased and upgraded to quicksilverone.

yup...they're tricky that way...that's why there's always a balance that gets reported to your CRS regardless of you paying it off every month before statement cuts...their monthly fee is charged right at that cut off date + interest, which is what gets reported to your reports...best thing to do is if you want a zero balance reported, push thru your bank a payment of 3 months worth of fees...that way you end up with credit ![]()

I'm gonna close it once it hits a year, so I won't have to worry about it....do you know when they hit you with the AF? Is it right on the 1 year mark, a day or so after or what?
Btw, I paid in full a week before due date (12/17)...$0 balance showed on my statement, until they reported it on (12/21)...they reported $2. Dummies.
