Thinking about asking Navy fcu for line of credit on checking for 5000 and rewards visa hopefully 10k (both at the same time)

advice--wait for inquires to go away? apply when 6 months on all of them has past? Suggestions on cc's to apply for--or just sit tight?
asking since i just ran equifax report and they said i didn't have enough accounts(10--4open) and inquiries were high--help the new guy please! payment history good and total debt good(4k)
are you applying for a home soon?
Personally id wait till the inq's age so you have a better shot at a higher limit.
I myself am not a member of any cu but ive heard they are pretty generous but are hard pull happy.

looking at buying a house in about 5 years--car paid for.
what is the 3 co's?
if your not applying for anything major in the next five years i wouldnt worry about it.
as for other cards.
are those the only three you have right now?
you should apply for cards you need not want.
are you a frequent flyer, or a cash back connoisseur?
Every card has it's purpose you just have to know what you want first.

If your history with Navy Federal is old on both Visa and banking accounts ( a year or longer ), you might stand a good chance with a LOC and, perhaps, another credit card. It will cost you two separate inquiries, though.
Your chances improve with age of your accounts with them and your military status.
actually miss spoke car will be paid for in sept 2013 thats 3100 of the total 4k---spending time the next 5 years to see where I want to retire--also social security will kick in--yes old guy(56)--other question is should i pay off car early?
