Re: Decided to try my luck with PayPal credit!

Congrats Gmood on the paypal credit“aka” hidden trade line approval! $5500 seems to be highest SL out of the gate. I applied last year this time and was approved after being denied the previous year. There had been those reports after Sync took over the account that it just might become unbidden but seems still to be invisible.

Honestly wasn't for sure if that was considered a decent SL or not for PPC.😂

FWIW that's the SL Comenity started me off with in 2017.    I used it a few times for eBay purchases.

Around the end of the year they gave me a $1K CLI.

Not quite a year ago I tried to use it for a $8800 purchase through eBay.  Attempting a purchase greater than your CL automatically triggers a SP CLI request.  Approved.     If approved, the new CL will be exactly enough to cover the purchase.

A few months ago they gave me another $1K CLI.   Emperically it looks like accounts get reviewed for possible CLI right around Christmas.

You'll get regular reminders of $600+ 24 month 0% interest eBay promotions and the ongoing $99+ 6 month 0% benefit.  And yes, the tradeline is still hidden from all the CRAs as long as the account is in good standing.

Congrats on the approval and a great SL.

Thanks LittleSal and @coldfusion for the great info!
I'll keep that in mind regarding the SP CLIs.
