Got denied for the barclays US air card tonight =/ i want them 50k miles after first purchase.
Will definitely be calling in on monday. Totally willing to sacrifice my arrival card limit for 50k miles. I shall get this card.
TU08 is 738 or so.
Good luck! Calling them can't hurt. ![]()
I have no doubt that you will get the card.

Not to toot my own horn, but i have no doubts either.
I'm happy with where I am in the credit world right now. It's gotten to the point where I see an offer I like and I don't need to think about whether or not I'll be approved.
Like the 70k marriot and 140k ritz cards.
Second time Barclay's has denied me for a card recently, and the last time (in sept) it happened the lady was like "weird i dont know why you weren't approved," boom, 3k (at the time my highest limit was 3.5k from cap one and barclays)
Good luck man! I'm sure you'll get it somehow.

They may not like all your new accounts. ![]()
I'm not so sure i'm at that same point with some issuers.
AMEX, Chase, i'm sure will give me what I want.
Citi, BoA, Barclays, Simmons.. They'll hassle me about it.

Simmons hassles everyone. Just give them your first born and they'll open your account.
And it's not that many new accounts. They better like em, or we're gonna have a problem.
Plus I dont think my ritz card has even reported yet. Only "new" accounts would be my ring card and my marriott card which are both a few months old already.
Pulled 3k off my arrival card and got approved.
I'll change all my recurring bills i have on it and then probably move the last $500 off and close it.
50k miles, yayayay
Congrats on the approval! Love those "first purchase" requirements to get signup bonus. Too bad you dont see too many of them.
