How were you able to get a hold of them today? They didn't even pull a CR for mine.

Nice. Now I just gotta explain to them why I want this card again when I technically had it before. I didn't even take advantage of the sign up bonus then. Help me guys.

Dont even mention it.
Just say "Hi, I put in an application and was wondering if you needed anything else from me to process it"
They'll tell you what's up, and then work it out with them.

Everything checked out, even when she brought up the fact I had the card before and I was honest about what happened and she was able to pull a CR. New accounts got me though and she wasn't able to do anything though she was pretty nice about it. She especially mentioned the fact my current Barclay card is still new in their eyes (I got it back in September) so that was another reason. Oh well. Gardening will be a pain once again but she has a point. There's still the Chase Ink though that I wanna get soon.
Someone told me they're still gonna offer this card until March 31st, so I can try again when my Barclay card turns six months.
JSUCOOL76,
Congratulations on your approval!
Thanks for that 24/7 underwriting #, I just got my pending Sallie Mae Mastercard app approved by talking with a nice lady. She asked me a few verification questions and then asked why I filed bankruptcy so I explained and she said everything else about my report and history with them was positive and advised since I don't have much usage on my NFL World Mastercard we could move $2500 over to open the Sallie Mae Mastercard. Wait 7-10 days for my card, Yay, I get the opportunity for more credit line increases and the card I really wanted!

@popa, why not try recon again tomorrow?
I'd much rather get an auto approval like I did back then than having to deal with another analyst. They didn't even pull a CR at first for this card cause I tried the Ring not too long ago and that was an auto denial.
