So, I've been wanting a credit card with a a decent credit limit. I saw all the Cap 1 Venture approvals and went for it. Needless to say I was denied. Anyway I've been wanting a discover but was denied in September. So I went ahead and applied online and was approved, however, it did not tell me my credit limit. So I call customer service and speak with an agent and was told I was approved for $10,000. I was SHOCKED! Anyway I'm very excited and just wanted to share the good news!

Wow, amazing. Can I ask your FICO's and why you think you got declined for the Venture card? I usually hear Discover gives very low limits.

Yea I was pretty shocked that discover even approved me. My current scores are EQ-663, TU-690, and EX-660.

thats amazing... they are trying to get you to use there card as the primary card is my guess being the credit line compared to your others... Great limit for your scores! Congrats OP

Wow! I've never seen that for a Discover approval.
